Violet's Nursery

Our camera is fixed!! So excited to have it back and it was perfect timing. Now that it's back and our computer situation is worked out, I have no excuses for not blogging:)!!
So, as promised, it's time to post some pictures of Violet's nursery. I LOVE the way it has turned out. My main must-have was that the color turquoise had to be involved somehow. We bought a great chair for McCoy's nursery that is turquoise and I really wanted to use it again. Also, we are in a rent house right now, so there was no painting allowed and sweet Violet is actually getting a room that is supposed to be an office, so it's a little small. But, you don't need much room for a nursery, so it'll work perfectly!! And I promise her, as soon as we move, I will paint her room (or Kirk will;)) and it will be absolutely fabulous!!
Our color scheme is hot pink or fuschia, turquoise, lime green, and black. It is hard to tell in this picture, but the inside of the bumper pad is lined with a lime green cord that matches the pillow in the chair.

We are so happy with it and can't wait for Violet to see it! Only a few more weeks to go!!!

Violet's Shower

Obviously, I am way behind on my blog! Our computer was broken and right now, our camera is being repaired and should be ready anyday (fingers crossed). A lot of stuff has happened in the Miller house since my last post in December, but I'll just have to start from now and try to be better!!!
So, the most important thing that is happening right now is that we are waiting on McCoy's baby sister to arrive!! I am due in about 3 weeks and we are all so excited! We have decided to name her Violet Kate. McCoy is so excited to welcome his baby sister and I know he will be such a great big brother! I can't wait to see him interact with her!!!
A couple of weekends ago, some friends of mine threw a shower for Violet. Since our camera is broken, Monica, one of the hostesses, took pictures for me. Violet got so many fabulous things and I can't wait for her to get here to wear her adorable outfits and headbands, and cuddle up with all her sweet blankets. One of the hostesses painted an amazing canvas that goes perfectly in Violet's nursery.
I had so much fun at the shower and now I'm just ready to meet this sweet girl!!!
