Can It Get Any Bigger?

Two weeks to go!!! Woo Hoo!!! Kirk and I are so excited and ready to bring our little boy home! It's up to him now to decide when he's ready to come out. I've been giving him daily pep talks to let him know his mommy and daddy are ready to love on him!!

Now, about the title...my stomach is HUGE!!! I just look at it and think there is no way possible for it to get any bigger, but somehow it just keeps growing. It is such a miracle how my body can adapt to take care of this growing baby! Here's the belly shot Kirk took tonight...

My bottom hand is having to hold my shirt down because I'm having trouble finding ones that actually cover it!

We had our weekly check-up on Tuesday and I had made quite a bit of progress since last week. Kirk and I were so excited to hear that! We've been going on a nightly walk to make sure McCoy drops into position, which he's almost there. The doctor said his educated guess is that I will be back for one more appt (next Tuesday) and deliver a few days early. We hope he's right!!!

So, with all this going on, Kirk and I are busy getting prepared for the big moment. Kirk is charging the video camera and has asked if I could give him 10 minutes notice to get his bag packed. My bag is mostly packed except for a few things I have to use everyday and McCoy's bag is ready to go. Here are a few things that we wanted him to have at the hospital...

We have his take home outfit which is so sweet! I can't wait to see him in it! We also have a burp cloth that says "Prince Charming", a little blankie with his name on it, and the book "On the Night You Were Born". McCoy is definitely going to want us to read it to him at the hospital. If you haven't ever read it, you have to. It is so sweet!

And, all of this cute stuff had to be in a cute bag for me to carry so here's my diaper bag...

I absolutely love this bag! Of course, Kirk will never carry it but he has his own diaper "backpack" that's very manly!

We've got a few more things to get done this weekend and we should be as ready as new parents can be. We just get more excited everyday and I'm always looking for new symptoms that might be a sign of early labor but I'm still feeling good. McCoy seems content to stay where he is for now so his mommy and daddy are being very patient!

You look so cute! It's all in your stomach - you are one of those lucky people who just look great when they are pregnant.
And your diaper bag is TOO cute!

I cannot believe it is time! I have 4 friends due in the next week!! How crazy is that. Just so you know...if you are exhausted or just want to be alone with your family- we will be back up 2 more weekends in October so we can meet McCoy then. You are in my prayers!!! Tell Kirk to give Brian "the call"!!!

I kinda teared up when I read your blog today. I don't know why, I guess am just so excited about McCoy coming. I can't beleive he will be here so soon! (the sooner the better so your poor tummy won't have to stretch anymore.) I love the diaper bag and all his cute stuff that you are taking to the hospital. You will have to post the coming home pictures so we can see him in his cute little outfit.

Love your cute belly! You look fabulous as always! I can't believe he is almost here! I'm so excited for you guys.
I love the hospital outfit. Adalie's take home outfit was the same brand/thing only with pink edging. SO sweet! I can't wait to check this blog and see that McCoy is here along with a picture!

Kim-The diaper bag brand is "Spoiled Little Mama" and I got it at Bella Jack's-a boutique here in Fayetteville. They have lots of cute patterns!
