Christmas 2008

McCoy had a great 2nd Christmas! We kicked off the festivities by opening presents and playing our annual Christmas game at Kirk's parent's house a few days before Christmas. We had so much fun! McCoy got his first Elmo and was very entertained by Elmo's stories!

Anna Grace loved the fairy princess outfit we gave her and immediately put it on. She looked so sweet!

The next day we went to El Dorado to continue celebrating. On Christmas Eve night, we went to the church for caroling. McCoy loved all the attention he was getting and he was having so much fun! But as soon as the prayer started and everyone got quiet, he started fussing and wanted to run around. So we took turns taking him outside to play and then we eventually had to sneak out a little early.

Christmas Eve 2008

When we got home, we had our traditional chili for supper and everyone got to open one present. McCoy had a hard time picking just one!!!

The girls and boys always matching pajamas to wear on Christmas Eve. McCoy's pajamas had his name on them and we didn't want Pop and Daddy to be left out so we had their's monogrammed too! They looked so cute...or handsome!!!

The next morning McCoy was so excited when he came down stairs and saw what Santa had brought him. He was definitely a good boy this year!!

"Are those all for me??"

Gotta love that hair!!!

McCoy had lots of fun helping the guys fry turkeys and helping the girls in the kitchen.

"Who needs foil??"

I think his favorite part was probably eating all the food that helped make! He thought it was so yummy!!

"What? Is there something on my face?"

We had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I only regret that I didn't get enough pictures over the holidays! Having too much fun, I guess!!

We enjoyed all the gifts and yummy food but we definitely want to remember the reason for the season!!! Happy Birthday, Jesus!
