You get called by your child's MDO teacher because your son has a tick and you need to come get him!!!
That's right! That happened to us on Thursday!! EMBARRASSING! No worries though. I got him home, pulled it out, put some alcohol and a Elmo band-aid on it, and we were good to go. I called his doctor and he said there is nothing to worry about unless he develops a rash, which he hasn't.
SO, all in all, it wasn't too bad but I did feel a little neglectful that I hadn't noticed. From now on, during bathtime, we are having full body searches because as much as we play outside I know it won't be his last one! The upside is we'll be prepared!
Maybe he got it mowing the lawn??

Boys!! I got a call one day to come pick up Tayson because he had a "runny" diaper. I was in shock! There was nothing wrong with him but they said it was a sign that he might have a bug. I was thinking...when kids are little, it really isn't all that uncommon for them to have "runny" diapers now and then. I mean, we've had our fair share of blowouts in his lifetime :)

oh my! that is crazy. my mom has been telling zak and I that we need to do body searches on cooper at night bc it's tick season. we have been laughing about it and sorta blowing her off - i guess she's right! tonite - we will be on the search! Hope all is well
