Truth in the Tinsel

Like most people, I LOVE this time of year!!! I do worry about McCoy and Violet getting caught up in Santa and presents and forgetting what the true meaning of Christmas is. So, when I heard about a "book" called Truth in the Tinsel, I knew I had to get it. Starting on Dec. 1 and going to the 25th, there is a part out of the bible to read and an ornament that you make that goes along with the bible reading. McCoy and I have been doing this in the afternoon. I have to admit that we're a little behind because McCoy doesn't want to do it everyday and I really don't force it;), but I do feel like McCoy is starting to realize the true meaning of Christmas, which I love:)!!
I am also loving reading through the story of Jesus' birth. It's such an amazing story and even though I've heard it several times, this book has us going over it daily. So much fun!
