Last week we heard the heartbeat and I think that made it all more real. It was so neat! No one had ever told me that you could actually hear movement! We have the whole thing on a recording that I listen to every night!
I haven't posted in a while because I have not been feeling very well. Exhausted, nauseous, and very sick, but my doctor put me on Phenergan and that seems to be working wonders. Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks I'll be able to get off of it. It's all worth it!!
Both of our parents and siblings are so excited! Kirk's parents bought us mega boxes of diapers and wipes and my parents have been picking up anything gender neutral. Both my mom and mother-in-law are big time shoppers, so I don't think our baby will ever have to worry about wearing the same outfit twice! The picture below is a few things that we already have. I can't believe we've already been given so much!
We are just so lucky to have so many people that already love our baby! I always have people calling and checking to see how I'm feeling and offering lots of helpful advice...that I'm definitely going to need! We're dying to know...BOY OR GIRL???? But we'll find out soon enough and in the meantime we're just having fun wondering!
I'll try to keep everyone posted on what's going on and I'll try not to ramble so much...sorry about this one...just so much to say!!!
