Caution: Grandparents at Work!

Since we are in the single digits as far as weeks go, we decided it was time to get McCoy's nursery painted. So, Saturday and Sunday Gigi, Pop, and Dig all worked hard to help Kirk get all the painting done.
After painting the room, Dig and Pop worked hard on the shelves and end table.
Gigi gets started on the polka dots...
As she finishes up, Kirk gets started on the stripes.
.The finished product!!
Gigi crocheted the rug from fabric strips. Isn't she so crafty??
We are thrilled with the way the painting turned out! It's so bright and we know McCoy will love it! Kirk and I were so thankful for all the help from the grandparents. It never would've gotten done so quickly without them!!!
We've still got to paint the crib and get our changing table in there but we'll keep updating as it starts to come together. However, I must say that we're off to a great start!!!!
Thanks to Dig, Pop, and Gigi for all their hard work!!!!

Yeah, finally a glimpse into McCoy's nursery! It looks so great!!! I think the black/white stripes will make him so smart (seems like Iread something somewhere that that is stimulating to babies but what do I know?)!!
I love the polka dots!!
