Well, let me tell my story... Last weekend when we went to El Dorado, we left Henry (our very large cat) in charge of the house. We always do this when we go out of town and Kirk's parents come over to feed and talk to him every day. This has always worked out great...until we decorated for Christmas.
I love Christmas decorations and I especially love trees!! So we have several that I will show you now...

And now for our big tree...
That's right...it's about to tip over! And it also looks like someone took a bite out of the middle. That's because Henry decided to get up in there and take a little nap. For all I know he might have eaten a few ornaments too!
The culprit
The good news is that Kirk fixed the top of the tree tonight. It involved some hot glue and him almost falling off a ladder but it looks a lot better. I'll post the new and improved tree once I get the branches looking a little better...if I can.
I also thought I would post a few of our most recent pics of McCoy. I feel like I can't post without including some of my new favorite pictures!!!

Oh Henry... That silly boy! : ) I am laughing out loud at that bent-over tree. Poor Kirk on the ladder. McCoy's little outfit is way too cute to even comment on. Sigh... : )
I love all of your trees! I especially love the topiary tree and the lit up presents in the foyer! So cute! And the bathroom tree with the lipstick ornament! We have 2 trees - but I'm thinking about nabbing some after Christmas on sale and having at least one more next year.
Ok...last year I let Brodie stay in the house while we were gone AFTER the tree was up. I came home and started bawling bc he ate one one my fake poinsettas and tore some ribbon off! Love all the trees and especially love how outgoing McCoy looks in all the pictures! He has developed SO much personality! Miss you guys!!!
I love all the trees! I just have one. It's kind of sad! I wanted to add another one for my bedroom this year but I never got around to it. You've inspired me! McCoy looks so peace in his bed!!!

I know this is probably the most random posting you've gotten in a long time, but I had say hi and CONGRATULATIONS!
It's been SO long since I've seen/talked to you! And obviously so much has happened since!! I still talk to Katie a lot, and the last time we spoke she updated me on Fayetteville, which included the old gang...She sent me the link to your blog, so I could see some pics of your precious baby boy!! And oh my goodness, he is SO sweet! It's so strange that it's been long enough for us to grow up, get married, AND even start having kids!! Congratulations, Rachel! Really, I am so happy for you!
I am still living & working in Paris, France. I finished up my MBA last Dec, and have been working with GE ever since. I have also snagged myself a Frenchie, and we're getting married next September!! I'm totally over the moon! His name is François and he is wonderful! His mom is american, so he has just enough american blood in him for us to get along;) He's coming home with me for 2 weeks for Christmas this year, so I am starting now to prepare him for good 'ole AR:) He is sure in store for some surprises!
Anyway, I was planning to show him around Fayetteville while we're home, so maybe we could meet up!? I'd be so nice to catch up, and to meet your little family:) We could get Kasey, Kathryn, and anyone else who we can 'round up together too...what do you think? I love all of your trees! Isn't getting in the holiday spirit by decorating so fun! I know u guys are going to have such a fun specail Xmas this year with McCoy to spoil! BTW-I love your mom's crib and set up in the previous post. And love McCoy's outfit in this one...well all of them..he's so stylish!
