Boys and Their Toys

This week McCoy and I decided to change things up and try out some new toys!! I decided to put his activity center and his jumperoo together. He loves the activity center but is not quite ready for the jumperoo. He needs to be a little bit heavier for his feet to touch the ground.

"Where have you been hiding this thing, Mom??"

Every night, once McCoy is in bed, I clear up the mess we have made in the den. Toys everywhere!! I always laugh because it is amazing how many toys this (almost) 5 month old has!!

"Next station, please!!"
McCoy has also picked up some new tricks this week. He loves to raise his feet up in the air and flop over to the side. He does this a lot during his diaper changes too which is making that a little bit more difficult these days! When he's laying on his activity mat, he can also turn himself completely around with this move. The first time I left the room and came back to find him completely turned around I was a little startled!

And I must thank all you girls who recommended oatmeal cereal. He loves it!!!

"Here Mom, let me show you how to do it!"

"What? Do I have something on my face??"

McCoy is so adorable. I love his expressions in the first and last pictures the most. He is getting cuter and cuter! We miss him and need to come over to play with him soon.

You may want to try putting quilts or pillows under the jumparoo so his feet will touch. That's what I did for Jancie (she had the same one). She LOVED it and would jump until she wore herself out and went to sleep.

He is so cute!! Justin and I always joke too that our house looks like a daycare. It is amazing how much stuff someone so little can have!! I love the picture of him with his little legs up in the air! It won't be long before he just flops over on his belly!!

Oh Rachel just wait the toys just get worse!!!! I do the same thing every night just so Walker can pull them all out again. In a couple of months the jumperoo will come in handy. Walker loved his, he would still get in it if we had it out. I also would put a little baby fruit in Walker's cereal. Just to change it up. He loved it!!!! Only 1-2 teaspoons.

So cute! I too used a big oversized pillow that I had--to help Jordan in her jumper (we had the same one as you!), until she was tall enough to touch on her own...

Anyway--SO glad he loves the Oatmeal cereal!

What a little charmer! I love the first and last picture's especially. Isn't it funny how your house transforms into a huge playroom? It's so great though! Jett used to only take MAM paci's too, but I as long as I ordered latex, he would suck on the personalized ones. I got them from itsmybinky.com
