We have driven through Seaside when we were in Destin but have never stayed there. We had a great house and loved being able to walk everywhere! We went with Gigi, Pop, Aunt Sara, Nanny, and Aunt ReRe, and some more members of our extended family. There were probably about 20 of us and we had houses next door to each other. It was so much fun! There were so many cute shops and gorgeous houses!!

It was McCoy's first beach experience and let's just say, he prefers the pool! He didn't mind sitting on the beach as long as he was far away from the water. I think the noise of the waves scared him!

However, he loved sitting under the umbrella and eating sand!!! He thought that was really tasty!

"Hey mom, have you ever tried this stuff? There's plenty for both of us!"
"This is the life!"
We had a pool in our backyard, which was great! McCoy loved swimming and when he went down for a nap, we just brought the monitor outside with us.
"Who needs the beach?"
"Somebody better catch me!"

Unfortunately, our camera broke one day on the beach so I didn't get as many pictures as I would've liked. The last night we went and took family pics. I'm taking these from my parents camera. My Aunt ReRe also got some great pics that she's going to email me so I'll post those later.
I'm hoping that my aunt has much more of these that are better! I can't wait to see them!
We had so much fun and Kirk and I kept saying how we were not ready to come back. It went by way too fast!!!!

I am glad you guys had fun. We took Walker to the beach last year he wasn't too crazy about the water either. I think it was too loud. McCoy is getting to be such a big boy!!!!

I love your family picture! I've already been planning Kaleb's beach trip for next summer! We've never stayed at Seaside either, but it looks really nice and pretty.
What a fun trip!! We are going on Vacation in about a month and I can't wait!! I love the picture of McCoy with the sand in his mouth! That is also a great family picture, everyone is so tan!!

OH so much fun! I want to go to Seaside one day so badly. I have seen so many pictures and it just looks so cute. A guy I work with got married there last summer.

I have some very similar pictures from Seaside last year. It is absolutely the most amazing place! I am so glad you had such a great time!
I think Addison would prefer the pool at this point, too. McCoy's funny faces sure made for some cute pics, though!
Actually, the farthest house in the picture, the really tall one, is where we attended a party for a friend's wedding!
You will have to email me suggestions of things to do, sights to see, places to shop and eat. I'm going to Seaside in two weeks with my mother in law and sister in law and none of us have been there before. I wish Creighton was coming along, but I don't think it would be the same kind of vacation!
