McCoy has a lot of hair for a baby his age and he's been in need of a trim for a while now. I've been putting it off because I feel like that means he's a big boy now and it makes me sad!! I wanted to keep his hair fairly long but I just wanted his bangs cut out of his eyes and a little trim around his ears. And maybe chop the beginning stages of the mullet off the back, too...
Anyways, Pop assured me that he was very good at cutting hair so after his nap on Sunday we decided it was time!! We sat him in his chair and bribed him with a fruit strip to keep him still.

He looks like such a big boy now and I'm so sad!!! I almost cried throughout the haircut! I don't think we'll be getting anymore for a long time. McCoy did great and stayed very still but it was entirely too traumatic for Mommy and Daddy!
Don't get me wrong, he still looks so cute! It's just really tough for me to think that he's old enough to need a haircut!

I had a VERY hard time with Tayson's 1st haircut too but they really do get easier! He looks so cute!! They grow up way too fast!!!
His haircut does make him look older! Pop did a great job-he might need to take on a weekend job as a barber.
