Lokomotion

On Friday night, Kirk decided that McCoy needed to experience the fun of Lokomotion! It wasn't until we got there that I realized Kirk was going to have just as much or more fun than McCoy!

The first thing McCoy wanted to do was ride in a car. Whenever he sees one of these, he's always really excited to get on but then as soon as it starts bouncing he's ready to get off! It was no different this time!

We thought maybe skeeball would be something McCoy would like and that he could catch on to. He definitely got excited when all the balls came down the chute. Kirk got one first to show him how to do it...

"Ok, I see... So you just pick it up... I think I've got it!"

and then it was McCoy's turn...

"It may work better if you just did this, Dad!"

Unfortunately, the skeeballs are hard and after he threw a few more kids started to come and we decided we should move on to a different game before somebody got injured!

He'd been watching this group of kids play a jumping game, so he ran right to that next. This game was kind of like jumping rope where you wait for a light to come around and then you jump over it. McCoy has really been into jumping lately, so he thought this was lots of fun!

"Wait for it, wait for it..."

"JUMP!"

Kirk and I are brave parents so we decided to let him try another game that involved throwing balls...Basketball! He had lots of fun helping daddy score lots of points!

McCoy had lots of fun playing games but I think his favorite might have been pulling tickets out of the slots! He thought it was so funny when tickets just kept sliding out of the machine! He'd pull them out and then bring them over to me.

"Do they ever stop??"

"Here Mom, go get yourself something nice on me!"
