Easter 2010

I'm a little late on my Easter pics, but I definitely have an excuse! We've got lots going on at the Miller house these days...more on that later! I'm sure the suspense is killing you now ;)
On to Easter...
We had a great Easter weekend and the weather was absolutely perfect! I'm going to go ahead and warn you that McCoy was NOT wanting to pose for ANY pics. This makes a mama very sad, but what are you going to do??
We started off our Easter festivities with an Eggstravaganza at the church where McCoy goes to MDO. McCoy had so much fun finding eggs and eating candy! But I think his favorite part might have been getting to see all his besties from school!

Heading into the hunt, basket ready!

He would load up a lot of eggs and then lean over to get another one and dump his basket out! It was pretty funny!

Checking out his loot with his friends...I think he's trying to act like he's too cool!

Trying to get a pic of him and his bestie, Cy but they would rather look at pics Cy's mama had already taken!

That night we decided to dye some eggs. We knew this would be a messy task but we had lots of fun doing it!

Giving me his fake smile!

Waiting "patiently" for the eggs to be done.

The next morning he was so excited to see his eggs in his basket! We kept telling him to gently put them in his basket but he got a little carried away so most of them ended up cracked. He still had fun playing with them!

"They're still here!"

He loves his eggs!

We went to church early on Sunday morning so the Easter Bunny left McCoy his basket while we were gone. McCoy was so excited about his new train that he didn't want to wait for us to help him get it open! I wonder who he's seen using their teeth to get stuff open...

"Come on choo-choo! Open up!"

Checking out his other stuff!

For lunch we went over to Kirk's parents' house for an egg hunt and some yummy food! McCoy was so excited to see his cousins and hunt for more eggs!

This next pic will show you what I mean by no posing... Please notice McCoy in the background running. What you can't hear is him laughing while 5 of us try to call him over to take a picture. He was having none of it!

Great group pic!

This is the closest he would get willingly!

After all that running and giggling he needed a break!

Daddy helping him hunt his eggs

Looking for "beans"!

"Blowing" bubbles!

Yes, the bubble wand is in his mouth! I don't know where he got that but he would stick the whole thing in his mouth and blow. Amazingly, it actually worked a couple of times! We're definitely working on teaching him the right way to blow bubbles, because this was a little gross for me!
Happy Easter, everyone!
