Storytime Live

A couple of weeks ago, Kirk and I took McCoy to Storytime Live at the Walton Arts Center. McCoy loves watching NickJr cartoons and some of his very favorite characters we're going to be there. The show was hosted by Moose and Zee and as soon as they came out, McCoy got quiet and focused all his attention on the stage. He started, wide-eyed, with his mouth open the whole time! Every once in a while he would look back at Kirk or I and smile, kind of like he was saying "are y'all seeing this?" I think his favorite act was the Wonder Pets...no surprise there!

We all had so much fun. When the lights came up and it was time to go McCoy started bawling! He was so upset that we had to leave. He whimpered the whole way home and kept saying "more". It broke my heart but I was glad that he enjoyed it that much!

This is definitely something we plan to do more often with him. Honestly, I think Kirk and I might have enjoyed it as much as he did!

Also, we did get in a little trouble at the show...Ooops! We thought they said no "flash photography" but apparently they meant all photography. We got a picture of Moose, one of the hosts, before an usher had to come tell us no pictures! A little embarrassing, but we were glad we got a quick pic!
