Tuesday was McCoy's one month birthday! It's amazing how you get to where you can't remember a time without them! He has grown and changed so much in this past month. He is so alert and keeps those bright blue eyes wide open. He loves to be held, which is perfectly fine with his mommy! He loves running errands and riding in the car. And the bouncy seat is still the best invention ever!!
Kirk and I are having so much fun being his parents. This is definitely the best and most important thing we have ever done! We feel so blessed to have him in our lives and don't know what we would do without him!!!
Since Sophie has her head in the corner of the picture I thought I'd go into how she's doing. She has been wonderful! We knew she would, though. She hates for him to cry and always goes to check on him. In the middle of the night, if McCoy makes any kind of noise, I'll wake up to see Sophie standing by the cradle looking at me like, "What can I do?". She loves to lick him, so we have to keep an eye on that because her licks kind of turn into baths!

Oh my word.. that Sophie is a DOLL!!!! I get so excited thinking about incorporating a baby in with our dog, Bichon. A month already for McCoy?? UNREAL!!!

I'm glad to hear Sophie is doing so good with him. We are scared to death of how Dawson will handle it when a baby comes. He is not real fond of kids and he is such a mama's baby. Hopefully he will adjust! Sophie sounds like she just loves McCoy.
