Hanging with Connor

This past Saturday, McCoy got to hang out with a new friend. Connor is my good friend Kathryn's little boy and he was born just 6 days after McCoy. Kathryn and I always talk about getting the boys together but we have never actually made the time to do it.
So, on Saturday we went over to their house for dinner, along with Kasey and Jordan. The adults had a great time visiting and catching up, but I think the boys had even more fun! It took Connor a little while to warm up to some other kid running around his house, but once he did these two were best buddies! We can't wait to hang out with them again!

"Um, mom, what's this crazy kid doing here??"

Once the boys had warmed up to each other, we let the guys take them outside to do manly things while us girls chatted. But once we saw how much fun they were having together we ran outside and snapped some pictures. They loved going down the slide together! I love the look on their faces in this picture...pure excitement!

"Let's do it again!"

In most of these pictures, McCoy has his ends thrown over his head. He's been doing this for a little while now. Whenever he's really excited (which is most of the time) and we have the camera and say "Say Cheese!" he throws his hands up over his head and then runs to look at the picture. He is such a ham! It's adorable but most of our pictures are starting to look the same.... maybe I can talk him into coming up with a new pose sometime soon!

"Say cheese!"

I love Connor's sweet personality! He was very quiet and so sweet to McCoy. He kept wanting to give him hugs and at one point, he tried to get McCoy to sit in his lap. Of course, McCoy can't sit still for that long, so we didn't get any pictures.

Sweet Connor!
By the end of the night, McCoy was a little delirious so he started putting on a show for everyone by posing and then running to see the picture. He was doing it so fast that I barely had time to get a picture before he running toward me to look at the camera. I'm thinking we might be looking at a future class clown....
