Royal Caribbean Cruise

Last week, Kirk's parents took the family on a caribbean cruise! We went to San Juan, St. Maarten, and Labadee, Haiti. We had SO much fun! The cruise ship was huge and there was lots to do! I have a ton of pictures to go with this post, so there is not going to be much writing.

To start the trip off, Kirk and I were a little nervous about the plane ride. McCoy is at an age where he just sits in someone's lap in a plane and I thought there was no way he was going to sit still! But I have to brag on him...he was an angel! And we were lucky enough that there was always an extra seat next to someone for him to sit in. Also, Elmo videos and snacks work wonders!

Waiting for our plane

Naptime...for 20 minutes!

We spent one night in Miami before getting on the boat. We went to dinner at a great restaurant in South Beach. Jessica ordered a mojito that was HUGE so I helped her out a little...what better way to start out a caribbean vacation???

McCoy had so much fun at the restaurant since we were sitting outside and there was lots going on! I have to say, it was pretty late, he'd only had a 20 minute nap, and he was loving it!! Maybe he's a little delirious??

On Saturday, we boarded the boat and got ready to set sail. Of course, we had to get a rum drink to celebrate!

It was extremely windy on the top...McCoy wants to take off!

At dinner that night, McCoy's napless days and late nights caught up with him. He passed out in the middle of eating! LITERALLY! I think he might have had some broccoli in his mouth at the time. This was a first for him!

The next night we went to an ice show before dinner. It was really neat, but I have to say, I think McCoy had the most fun. He was laughing, screaming, and clapping his hands the whole time! It was so cute!

When we would go back to our rooms after dinner, our beds had been turned down, McCoy's pack and play was set up and we would have an animal made of towels on our bed. It was always a different animal and they were so cute! The first night we had a dog...

McCoy was a big fan of the pool! He loves splashing and running around in the water. He had so much fun playing with Anna Grace, our niece. She is so sweet to him!

Just hanging...love his belly!

Resting a little...

Kisses for Baby Caroline!
Our first stop was San Juan, Puerto Rico. We had lots of fun walking around and doing a little shopping. McCoy was a trooper!

Our next stop was St. Maarten which is absolutely gorgeous! It had a neat market and some great art galleries filled with work by local artists. There was some really neat stuff!

The front of our boat...HUGE

Beautiful St. Maarten

Pulling away from St. Maarten...notice my tan line...EEK!
And our third, and final stop, was Labadee, Haiti. This is an island owned by Royal Caribbean. It has a huge market, a few water parks, and beaches. It was so relaxing!!! Kirk is not a fan of the beach so he took McCoy back to the boat a little early for lunch and a nap. That gave me lots of time to get a tan!

We always had such a busy time during the day that McCoy was worn out during dinner. We started bringing his paci, blanket, and a book with us!!

A rare picture of Kirk and I
The last night they had a Pirate's Parade that McCoy loved! He was clapping the whole time!

Even though I have a ton of pics, I'm still missing some. There were a few days that we went without a camera so I need to get copies of everyone else's!

There was so much to do on the cruise ship and it really did have something for every age. We all had so much fun!
