Catching Up!

I can't believe it has been so long since I have blogged!! My excuse is that I left the cord that connects my camera to my computer at my parents' house and I hate to do posts without pictures! At first I told my parents I could wait until they came here to get it, but I was having severe withdrawals, so they shipped it to me. I think they were also having severe withdrawals not getting daily emailed pics of McCoy! So, let me catch you up!!!

You know your life has changed when you're spending Friday nights at the dr's office. That was us last Friday. McCoy started getting fussy Thursday night and started up again late Friday afternoon. I called the dr at about 4:30 worried that I wouldn't get in until Monday, but they got us in at 5:10! Gotta love pediatricians! This time McCoy had ear infections in both ears and some type of virus!! They prescribed something a little stronger than amoxicillin this time and it has worked like a charm! Saturday morning he was good to go!

We were so glad he felt better because it was a gorgeous weekend. Sunday we took a family trip to the new Sam's (very exciting, I know) but not before Kirk fixed McCoy's car seat. He had a little accident in it Saturday night so we had to take it out to wash it and it took Kirk quite awhile to figure out how to put it back together! Those things are tricky!

If I just put this strap here...

I don't know, Dad...

Success!!

When we got home, McCoy put on his baseball cap to block the sun and St Louis Cardinals hat to cover his ears and we went outside to play fetch with Sophie. We didn't stay out there long because it was a little windy!

This is the life!

Tuesday morning I started going to a Beth Moore Bible Study at our church. I absolutely loved it and met lots of great women! That also means it was McCoy's first time at daycare and he was an angel! How do I know?? We have his very first report card on the refrigerator!! His teacher's exact words were "What a sweet baby, very low maintenance"!!!! Yeah for McCoy!

And yesterday was McCoy's first snow!! He wasn't really interested but we took him outside for a little bit and he stuck his tongue out to taste some snowflakes. He thought they were delicious!

BRRRRR, Mom!!! Let's get inside!

Much warmer...but my mouth's still ready in case you've got any snow handy!!

Also, anyone who knows Kirk knows that he LOVES animals. We have lots of stray cat and dog stories to tell! Recently a neighbor's dog has been hanging out in our backyard. He can slide through our wrought iron fence. Sophie loves having him but sometimes at night, he's not quite ready to go home. There have been a couple of nights where he has slept on our back porch. Well, last night Kirk was worried it was going to get too cold so he made him this little dog house. It's definitely not the best view from our back window. This might need to come down...quick!

I think that about catches me up! So glad to be back to blogging! I missed you guys!!!

Hey Rachel! I made my blog private recently and realized that you weren't on the list! If you'd like an invite, email me at laurentx20@hotmail.com. McCoy just keep getting cuter and sweeter all the time!

OH I love how sweet it is that you built a place for the stray dog. I love fellow dog lovers!!!
I am so jealous of so many things on your blog-eating at Doe's (YUM), the snow, Beth Moore bible study, and that you have a low maintenance baby!
He is so cute!!!!!!!
