Isn't it so cute?? It was in a cabinet in the laundry room. A platter this cute could not stay hidden, so I plan to take it when I go. I just hope she lets me...

Having a Maxx Moment
Whenever I'm at my parents' house, I have the tendency to snoop around and see if there's anything my mom would like to give me. I never know when she might be sick of something I absolutely love that she's had sitting out or she might have something stashed away that she's no longer using. On one of these snooping sessions, I walked away with a full set of dining room furniture!! Yeah for me!

My mom is the same way! I have taken home loads of furniture and antiques from her house more times than I can count. : )
I love TJ Maxx!!! Do you have one in your town? I used to spend my summer going to one every week when we lived in Dallas. Luckily for my husband, when we moved, I lost my Maxx access.
How fun! I use to LOVE going to TJ Maxx...however we don't have one here so I haven't been in forever.

We definately have the same taste. I am thinking between the two of us, there could be some serious damage done to Gymboree and Baby Gap!! I even noticed Mccoy's little trumpette socks. We love those. I also love the name Mccoy. Too cute! Keep in Touch:)
I found your blog thru Jessica's thru Brandy's........I love that platter! When we were at St. Simon's Island during the summer, we went to a couple of open houses and saw the cutest mermaid type items! This reminds me of those! Adorable!!!!
