Mastitis Strikes Again!

It's Tuesday and McCoy and I are still here in El Dorado! Kirk drove down on Friday night to stay for the weekend and take us home on Sunday. On Sunday morning, we decided we wanted to stay one extra night and leave early Monday morning. Sunday afternoon I came down with my 4th or 5th (who's counting??) case of mastitis!! I felt awful so Kirk and my parents decided that I shouldn't go back until I felt better. Kirk wanted me to have someone to help me 24/7 with McCoy, which I definitely need whenever I get mastitis. So, I called my doctor yesterday and she called in a prescription for me and I'm feeling 10 times better...YEAH! I hate feeling too tired and sick to play with McCoy all the time! So, mom will be driving us back to NWA tomorrow to resume our normal life.
In the meantime, Gigi and Pop are having a blast with us here! They've tried to convince us to move to LA for good! The only problem is, Kirk wouldn't have a job...just a small issue!
While we've been here, McCoy is loving playing in his swing. The only thing he doesn's like is having the tray across the top, so he decided to get rid of that...

He did this over and over! As soon as he moved his foot and the tray fell down, he would try to move it again. Once he starts crawling, I am going to have to keep a serious eye on this guy! Oh...and he has no pants on because my dad always thinks he's uncomfortable in his outfits so as soon as he gets home from work, he unsnaps them! I promise, he looked really cute all day! Here he is dancing with Pop fully dressed...

We're having lots of fun here and having great meals! Mom has cooked for me almost every night and she's a wonderful cook! Very creative! This has inspired me to make a new years resolution...start cooking more! So, if anyone has any tasty recipes they would like to share, feel free!

Oh - I'm so sorry for your mastitis - that is miserable! (or so I think!)
But I know you are enjoying being with your parents. I know it's hard to be so far from them.
McCoy's little football romper is SO cute!!!!

We miss you! Can't wait to see McCoy. In 4 years of being Dig and MeMe this is the longest we have ever gone without seeing a grandchild and it's yucky!
Glad you are feeling better! I am available to help you anytime you need help when you get home!
Let's get GiGi and Pop moved to NWA so we can all play together!
I know he's changed so much since a week ago Saturday!

I'm glad you are having fun in LA! Everytime I read "LA" I think Los Angeles! Ha! Your parents are great! So is Kirk! Let them pamper you, girl! You deserve it! : )

Oh Rachel...I had no idea you have had mastitis so much! I know that's miserable. A good friend of mine had it 7 or 8 times and I always felt so bad for her. I agree with Linda...you need to get your parents to move up the NWA. We'd never see you if you moved "down there"!

I am so sorry that you are feeling bad. I have had mastitis several times too and it is no fun! McCoy, however, looks adorable and like he is having a great time! What a cutie!!

Oh, Rach, I am so sorry you have mastitis! I didn't know you had gotten it so much. Poor thing :(

I am so glad you were able to rest and feel better before coming back. I'm sure it is ten times easier having your mom to help you.

When you get back, call me and we'll go to lunch. It had been forever it seems like...

I'm sure your parents are enjoying having you there as long as possible! I love McCoy's football outfit! He is so sweet!
